David Brown is a yoga teacher / philanthropist

David Brown has trained to be a teacher in New York (200 Hours) under the guidance of Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman, founders of Yoga Shanti.

He studied also with Maty Ezraty allowing him to understand that the combination of Ashtanga and Iyengar practices is the answer to the dualism between stillness and movement.

David also trained with Allan Finger and Sarah Finger (500 hours) to refine his understanding of the subtle body and the complex union between asanas and meditation.

David is also an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist trained by Donna Karan non profit to use different modalities like yoga restorative poses, Reiki, Breath Awareness, Aroma Therapy and contemplative care to treat PANIC (Pain, Anxiety, Nausea, Insomnia and constipation) and to bring back “care” to the Healthcare System in the USA. Urban Zen Integrative therapy is now present in “Beth Israel, CareRite, The Children Hospital of Montefiore,NYU Langone Medical Center, Southampton Hospital.

Davis is a Founder of “Wellness for Children” a non-profit organization that bridges yoga with New York Schools
